Keep It Burning
The Nyabinghi fire is always burning at Ras Freeman as it is a tradition in the Nyabinghi order. Its large flames are undisturbed and used for warmth and a safe place for meditation and conversation amongst the brothers and sisters.
What you need to know before you come

Sacred Ground
Ras Freeman is built on the former slave plantation, the Willis Freeman estate and is the headquarters of Rastafari in Wadadli. This historic and sacred ground is where the Nyahbinghi tabernacle is being built and is where the farming of produce and sacramental cannabis is grown for the community.

What to Wear
The rules of the Nyabinghi ground require both men and women to dress modestly. Women are to wear skirts or dresses below the knees and a head covering that fully covers the hair. Tour attendees who do not have on the appropriate attire will have the option to purchase them before entering Ras Freeman.

We have handmade souvenirs and locally made items for purchase. All Proceeds from these items go directly to Ras Freeman.

You may get an up close look at our cannabis farms and greenhouses. However, it's important to note that the usage of cannabis at Ras Freeman is strictly religious and medicinal,

Age Limit
While this is an educational and insightfl experience for the whole family, attendees must be 18+ or accompanied by an adult to attend this tour.

We have carried out a thorough health and safety risk assessment and certification as it relates to COVID-19. Hand sanitizer is freely available. Even though this tour is outdoors we ask that all guests wear masks and remain socially distanced from each other throughout the tour.
